You and Your Lonely People is a collection of seven original short stories. Each story, in its own way, depicts the loneliness of its characters. In addition, the stories illustrate how people attempt to overcome their loneliness and how often these attempts are unsuccessful. This failure to connect with themselves and others can lead to characters living lives of quiet desperation. As the title suggests, the stories explore how people can be in close proximity to others and yet still be lonely. Loneliness is not confined to the outsider, sometimes the people on the inside of a society, family, etc. can be the most lonely.
