United States mutual security assistance to Latin America

The problem of this thesis is to discover strengths and weaknesses, possibilities and impossibilities, of American mutual security assistance policies in Latin America, through an examination of the military, economic, and technical assistance programs carried on in that area since the passage of the Mutual Security Act of 1951, and through an evaluation of the major criticisms which have been brought against the mutual security assistance program.
