The visa system of the United States as an instrument of immigration control

<p>This study is an exposition on the use of the visa system as an instrument of immigration control. It deals exclusively with the visa aspects of our system of immigra­tion controls, not those phases that are exercised by the Immigration and Naturalisation Service. It is neither an attempt to appraise the total system of control over immigration nor a study of immigration controls in terms of Constitutional or international law.</p>
