The visa system of the United States as an instrument of immigration control

This study is an exposition on the use of the visa system as an instrument of immigration control. It deals exclusively with the visa aspects of our system of immigra­tion controls, not those phases that are exercised by the Immigration and Naturalisation Service. It is neither an attempt to appraise the total system of control over immigration nor a study of immigration controls in terms of Constitutional or international law.
