The purpose of this study was: (1) to assess the potential of programed materials and devices for improving the educational development and social adjustment of the physically handicapped in preschool through grade three, (2) to locate suitable programs and devices which were available, (3) to make some analysis of the adaptability of specific devices and materials for the use of physically handicapped children in preschool through grade three.
