The use of financial data for selection of investments in chemical common stocks

This study is an attempt to correlate certain quantitative financial data--readily available from public sources--with growth in investment values for specific common stocks of chemical firms. The period of time covered is, roughly, the past two decades. The study was undertaken in the hope that such comparisons would provide some insight into the characteristics and requirements for growth of capital that is invested in common stocks.
