The general purpose of this study is to present a descriptive and analytical examination of a contemporary religious sect known as The United House of Prayer for All People. The mainsprings around which attention is centered are an analysis of the sociological form represented; causal factors related to its genesis and development; and specific organizational, interactional and ideological attributes.
