The U.S. machine tools industry from 1900 to 1950

The objective of the following study was to investigate and analyze the major economic problems faced by the U.S. Machine Tools industry in the period from 1900 to 1950, and to prepare an economic history of the industry which would summarize and analyze the industry's problems and economic development in appropriate perspective with contemporary developments in closely related industries.
