The Other End of Invisible is an original novel for young readers. When eleven year old Emily Lane moves to Lustertown, she immediately feels a change. Color seems diluted, faded somehow, as though a giant hand had added a few drops of gray paint to the long, swaying green grass and bright blue sky and stirred to blend. Her senses dull, and the air becomes still and stale. Emily's defense to cope in this town is invisibility. She works hard to blend into the background and not be noticed. But then everything changes when the Mayor begins his Rainbow Project---a plan to build an enormous plastic Rainbow that will span over the entire town---with the promise to end the curse on Lustertown. Not only do her mean teacher and the school bully start to notice her, but Emily, together with her new friend Joshua, start a battle against the Mayor himself as they are swept up into the mystery of Lustertown.
