The Middle of Nowhere. (Original writing)

The novel, The Middle of Nowhere, takes place in El Pozo, Colorado, a town born during the Gold Rush, which is faced with the question of development as a ski resort. An eighteen-year-old girl, who has always run away from her problems, comes to her family cabin outside of town to contemplate suicide. The discovery of her journal after her death affects other characters who try to understand who is at fault for her suicide.
