The Meaning and Role of the Colombo Powers in Inter-Asian Relations

The postwar period has been a period of drastic changes for the Asian and African countries. For them it has become the dawn of a new era, the beginning of the end of foreign domination and control and the start of a new life. However, after centuries of foreign rule and colonial exploitation, these countries are economically and technologically underdeveloped. Consequently, many problems must be faced such as the undertaking of economic improvements and establishment of educational standards.
