This study is a resume and analysis of the foreign policy views of the late Senator Robert A. Taft, Senior Senator from the State of Ohio. The period under review in this study begins in January of 1939 and concludes with the Senator's death on July 31, 1953. During his term in Senate, Mr. Taft was one of the most controversial and newsworthy figures in the United States.
