Brazil's economy is a house a-building. The foundation is coffee, the principal source of dollar income; the walls, now under construction, are improving health, increasing food production, developing electric power, and widening and integrating the transportation system. The roof is to consist of heavy and light industries, designed to effect greater self-sufficiency and stability in the Brazilian economy.
