"AD-X2" is the trade name for a battery additive produced and marketed by Jess M. Ritchie through his family-owned corporation, Pioneers, Inc. of Oakland, California. The material is a granular white powder composed chiefly of magnesium and sodium sulfates which when added to the electrolyte is claimed to improve battery efficiency and lengthen battery life.
