The Army Aid Program and Western Germany Recovery

In this thesis, the problem was approached primarily from the viewpoint of economics. The writer has touched on politics, social institutions, foreign policies and other related factors, only lightly. There has been a determined avoidance of the morals and ethics of the German problem. For example, in presenting the ration scales existing in Germany during the period covered by this study, no plea is intended for increasing the German diet, or improving the German lot.
