Student adjustment in recent programs of higher education
This study deals with student adjustment in higher education. The problem is to determine the ways and means employed by colleges and universities in their efforts to meet the individual and group needs of students as these efforts are manifest in recent administrative and instructional programs. The study is made with a view of assembling and presenting in usable form facts which will assist administrators and teachers in higher education with necessary reorganizations and developments. More specifically, it is the purpose of the study to examine in detail the types and forms of administrative organization, special provisions and methods designed to promote student adjustment in colleges and universities, and to summarize from this angle the functions of the several college years.
