This continent affords unusual opportunity in the observations of extant, albeit fast disappearing, primitive organizations in the survivors of the Indian tribes. Among these various aboriginal tribes the culture of the Pueblos stands out in interesting relief as indicating a definite type of economy peculiar to the inhabitants of dwellings of "pueblo" structure.
