Some social and economic teachings in the Qur'an and in Islamic traditions

With the increase of American interest in Muslim countries, it is deemed essential to understand Muslim ideas, institutions, customs and traditions. In the field of economics, Muslim institutions are considered important, despite a trend toward modernism. Since organized published information in English especially in the American sphere is still limited, the present candidate hopes that this study will serve the useful purpose of a better understanding of the Muslim World.
