Recent advances in technology as well as the desire of people of all economic levels to be entertained have given rise to the rapid development of television. Children's interest in television is of great concern to parents, educators and broadcasters. Its effect on the habits of children have been noted, but little conclusive evidence has been cited. It is hoped that this study will add to the fragmentary knowledge now available on the problem of television and children's habits.
