Some factors influencing the yield of wheat in Maryland

The purpose of this study is to determine the weather factors occurring prior to May first which have a pronounced effect upon the yield of wheat in Maryland and on the basis of these factors to forecast the probable yield of wheat. The study was undertaken to meet the demand of farmers, business men, the grain trade and others for a more reliable indication early in the season of the probable yield of wheat in this state.
