This study deals with the vitality of local 4-H Clubs. The word vitality is interpreted as meaning both the animate existence and the power of enduring or continuing. The problem is to determine some of the factors which are present in the organization and conduct of 4-H Clubs which means for some only a year or two of existence and for others a long life and a well integrated position in the community. The study is to be made in a form and in terms that will be useful to the thousands of county and State extension workers who are confronted with this problem. There has been no direct study made of this particular place of 4-H Club work although the problem has been mentioned by several in other 4-H Club studies.
