Some effects of government credit agency financial operations on the commercial banking system, the Federal Reserve system and the United States Treasury

The problem involved in this study is to define the relation and the effect of the Government Corporation and Credit Agency lending and financial operations on the Commercial Banking System, the United States Treasury, and the Federal Reserve System. The analysis will be based on the assumption that if actual cash does not flow to or from the public the retarding or stimulating effects upon the economy are negligible.
