Some aspects of county fiscal administration

The principal objectives of this study are: (1) to examine the scope of county fiscal operations; (2) to indicate the functions and responsibilities of county officials for fiscal management; and further (3) to point out some of the major financial trends and problems of the county; and (4) to discuss several suggested solutions to some of these problems with emphasis on those counties in urban and metropolitan areas.
