Rural Economic Conditions in Korea

Rural Economic Conditions in Korea is a description of existing rural conditions from a critical standpoint. The main object is to show the adverse conditions under which the small farmer exists, and the unfair manner in which the farmer is made to suffer economic poverty. In this discussion three points will be emphasized: the question of land tenure, agricultural credit, and the land tax system.
