Relations between the United States and Great Britain in Civil Aviation

During the summer of 1949 giant four engine aircraft will commence to fly what is probably the greatest trade route in the world between the United States and the United Kingdom in something less than twelve hours nonstop. This new mark in aviation history and the history of the English speaking nations will make our English friends closer to us by air than San Francisco is to New York with Present schedules and equipment.
