Pan Asian Repertory Theatre: New cultural needs for the Asian American community

As the Asian American population grows so rapidly and becomes more and more complex, their cultural needs can no longer be neglected. The Pan Asian Repertory Theatre is one of the solutions. Addressed in this thesis is a descriptive history of Asian Americans and an analysis of their cultural needs. This thesis also includes the purpose, management and artistic programming of the Pan Asian Repertory Theatre. It analyzes the background and content of the audience development plan, and it evaluates the plan as well. This thesis will show the importance of the theatre's existence and the significance of the plan.
