On Some Aspects of the Theory of Differential Rent and Factor Surplus

The dissertation submitted herewith deals with the concept of rent as it arises in the process of production. However, to refer to the term "concept" in the singular is not to do justice to the problem of rent. Indeed, there is a complex semantic problem associated with the several meanings of rent and their interrelationships.
