Neighborhood of Elves: Short stories

Neighborhood of Elves is a collection of short stories that reveal excerpts from the lives of characters in their early to mid thirties. All of the characters are at an age where they are attempting to settle down into the rhythm of their lives, trying to build families and keep up with the successes of their peers. However, for the most part, these characters are not actually living their own definitions of what it means to be "settled." They grapple with what they think they should be doing versus want they want to be. The result is a humorous yet sad portrait of young and modern American adults who are ever self-absorbed and incognizant of the world around them.
