Moreno's Psychodrama and the Sociological Approach to Personality

Moreno's psychodrama is a form of individualized group psychotherapy which has its problem the integration of the self along the lines of individual productiveness and social harmony. It shall be the purpose of this thesis to demonstrate that the technique and background principles of Moreno's psychodrama constitute an apt supporting illustration of the sociological concept of personality as the latter has been developed over the past two or three decades, and also to suggest some values of the psychodrama which may be demonstrated to be directly due to the influence and application of the sociological concept, or approach to personality.
