This collection of poetry explores the thin line between illness and survival and how medicine and other methods of healing are often just as likely to kill as they are to save. Using the immediate family as a touchstone, the collection moves through medicine, physics, kinesiology and the chemistry of everyday life to knit a narrative of what it means to survive, and to continue surviving.
