Jet Engine Spare Parts Requirements: An Estimation Problem

A continual effort is made by the United States Air Force to improve and refine the criteria which are used in the determination of requirements for aircraft engine spare parts. Two different but related criteria are used by the USAF to determine the quantity or value of engine spare parts for which replacement will be required.
