The primary objective of this study is to provide the reader with an intelligible, analytical framework of Jean-Marie Le Pen's ultra-right wing political party--Le Front National. This study includes broad discussions of a variety of issues, both domestic and foreign, in direct relation to the program of the Front National. Policies held by the Front National are not simply presented in terms of France vis-a-vis other nations, but additionally in terms of what the Front National seeks for "Europe" vis-a-vis the world. This thesis is devoid of any strong "judgement calls" and does not postulate that the Front National be deemed a "hard-core" fascist party. The hope is that this text will prove to the reader that challenging ideas, from which we may all learn, exist across the entire political spectrum--the Far Right being no exception to the rule.
