International Relations of Lithuania

In this work an attempt is made to present the international relations of Lithania from the standpoint of history, and to indicate in a general outline the existence and, wherever possible, the nature of such international relations from remotest period of the history of Lithunian people down to the present day. The breadth of scope of such a task necessarily limits the work itself to a general outline of Lithuania's past diplomacy and policies - an outline for the purpose of disclosing, rather than minutely describing, the numerous intricate and specially important facts and events which a history of Lithuania's international policy and a study of her international relations from a Lithuanian viewpoint might find useful.
