Indonesia's Foreign Relations and the Netherlands New Guinea (West Irian) Issue

The primary purpose of this paper is to acquaint the reader with Indonesia's foreign policy through an appreciation of her history and present day role in foreign affairs. The all important problem of Netherlands New Guinea has been subjected to heated and irrational discussion. As a result, proponents of colonialism, communism, and nationalism have obscured the original nature of the issue.
