In the Weeds. (Original writing)

The protagonists of these five original works of short fiction all discover themselves to be less in control of their lives than perhaps they should be. Recent college graduates, they must reconcile what they have learned in school and what they are beginning to learn about life. They find themselves less than fulfilled by the everyday business of living; as they look at their own lives they feel that they've fallen behind or lost their place. As a server in a busy restaurant might say, they find themselves "in the weeds.".
