George Louis Beer: A New Accent on American Colonial Relations with Great Britain

George Louis Beer, lecturer, historian, and statesman, was born in Staten Island, New York, July 16, 1872, and died forty-eight years later on March 15, 1920. During these forty-eight years, he gained a reputation in the field of American colonial history and became a well-known humanitarian - a double accomplishment which seldom comes to a person of is age. Because he is so recent a figure on the world scene, historians have not as yet taken the opportunity to write much about his life.
