One of the most important problems in the field of personnel administration is that of insuring that the best qualified candidate is selected to fill each supervisory position. The objective in the preparation of this project is to describe certain formal methods in use in particular organizations in the selection process to insure that the best possible decisions are made. It is hoped that this description will be of assistance to those who are responsible for determining the proficiency of selections for their particular organizations.
