The Significance of Studying Worker MobilityWorker mobility is one of the principal factors that must be studied in appraising the supply and flexibility of our skilled work force. The extent to which workers can and do respond to changes in the volume and composition of labor requirements by making job changes of various types, along with the training of new workers, determines largely the extent to which our labor force is effectively utilized.
