Development of Political Parties in Japan, 1945-50

This is a study of the development of political parties in Japan during the post-war period under Allied Occupation during 1945-1950. However, the historical setting and early influences on political organization during the Meiji Era from 1867 to the establishment of constitutional government and national elections in 1890 are not discounted.
