Development of Actuarial Methodology in Unemployment Insurance

This paper has been undertaken with the intention of outlining some of the major contributions made in the development of actuarial methodology in unemployment insurance. It should be emphasized that the basic developmental work was performed by various people, and an attempt has been made here to present the contributions of these people. However, it is hoped that this paper will prove to be more than just a reproduction of the finidings of other research workers in this field.
