Delinquency is prevalent in every nation in the world. The problem is evident both in the up-to-sixteen year old age group as well as in the sixteen to twenty-one year group (or older). Teeters and Rememann have shown that in the U.S.A. 54.8 percent of delinquents are less than twenty-one years of age.Delinquency starts when youth finds some insecurity during his earlier years and when parents and school officials fail to diagnose or treat this and other behavior patterns as pre-delinquent manifestations. The probglem of delinquency is an old one. It has always been an indigenous disease of society.
