Connective Tissue
Life is held together by elaborately woven fibers that create a support system for the biologically vulnerable human interior. Each strand of our connective tissue strengthens the spirit, allowing life to move forward. But what happens when even just one of these critical threads is damaged? Who does a person become if the whole system begins to dissect?; This collection of short-fiction, Connective Tissue, demonstrates a variety of relationships complicated by the weakening and corruption of the webbing essential to existence. Each character is engaged in struggle directly related to mending the damage, or to impairing reconstruction. Connective Tissue illustrates the need to examine and reexamine the condition of our connections: the core of a system that if left unchecked, will deteriorate beyond repair.
