An Investigation of Administrative Problems Incident to Centralization of Federal Agricultural Research Activities

This thesis involves an analysis of recent proposals to integrate agricultural research activities of the United States Department of Agriculture and the drawing of conclusions as to administrative adjustments necessary to facilitate the attainment of objectives of the reorganization. It thus has elements of a case study of a phase of the Department's activities as well as a consideration of reorganization as a means of achieving ends.
