An Evaluation of the Governmental Accounting System in Thailand

The governmental accounting system employed in Thailand was devised and designed about twenty five years ago by a few high government executives who possessed a knowledge of accounting. Most of these men, during that time, had received their formal education and training in Great Britain. Consequently, it was but natural that these men would be influenced by the ideas of the British.
