An Evaluation of "Hire the Handicapped" Appeals on Radio and Television: 1957

In the land of opportunity that is America, there is at least one group of citizens for whom opportunity still is a dream unfulfilled. For countless thousands of handicapped men and women, equal opportunity for employment has been denied-too often not because of their inability to work, but because of the inability of employers to consider them as they really are, as men and women with the same talents and abilities as all humankind.
