American public opinion concerning Germany prior to the entrance of the United States into the World War, December 1, 1916 to March 1, 1917

The purpose of this study is to review American public opinion concerning Germany as shown in the editorials of the daily newspapers of this country during the weeks from December 1, 1916 to the severance of diplomatic relations with Germany in Feb. 3 1917.
