Administrative law of the United States as applied to local taxation

Legal writers of this country, as well as those of England, have, until recently, given but little attention to the subject of Administrative Law as a separate branch of legal study; nevertheless, there is a body of law in this country which can properly be termed administrative. The treatment of the subject heretofore has been in a more or less general way and it is the authors purpose in the present work to treat concretely the process of local taxation from the standpoint of the principles of administrative law existing in this country.
