This thesis has been inspired by the great need for vocational guidance which is so evident in many of our schools and colleges. Its purpose is to call attention to this need and to indicate some methods by which the need may be met. It is believed that this purpose may best be carried out by first acquainting the reader with the growth of the vocational guidance movement and with its essential purposes. Next, the psychological instruments available as aids in carrying out these purposes are presented. And finally a unified guidance program is outlined, showing the essential part which psychological measurements play in meeting the vocational needs of the individual in an efficient manner.
