A study of the support extended by labor unions (A.F. of L.) to American public education, 1950-1955

Nothing in more fundamental to the future of a nation than the basic concept of its educational system, in the United States today, many influences are being exerted to shape the framework of this system. Therefore it is of paramount concern to the educational system and to the people interested in its progress to inquire into the activities of organizations active in promoting educational policies. One such organization is the American Federation of Labor.
