A study of the effect of glutamic acid on adult male mental defectives

In view of the controversy regarding the effect of glutanic acid on the intelligence level, it is the purpose of this experiment to throw further light on the matter. A further problem is to study the effect that glutanic acid has on the behavior of the patients. It is felt by the author that anything that offers a means or improving intelligence and controlling behavior by non-toxic methods warrants a thorough investigation.
