A study of junior leadership in 4-H club work

There were 43, 258 older club members assisting with the planning and supervising of the 4-H Club program in 1939. This is the first survey of 4-H leadership where juniors have been included. The purpose of this study is to determine what place junior leadership has in the 4-H Club program; what duties should be assigned to these leaders; what method of selection should be used; what assistance and training should be given; and what satisfactions they receive.
